Browns Bay is open for business and needs you.  Many of us realise more than ever before (possibly because we have had time to contemplate during lockdown) how lucky we are to be part of a fantastic community in East Coast Bays. As a local resident and business owner, it has been heartening to see how everyone has come together and supported each other over the last few difficult weeks. To survive the economic fallout of Covid-19, now is a vital time when small local businesses really need you. Please shop local and keep our town centre and light industrial zone alive.

As you will see in the advertisement above, nine fabulous cafes and restaurants in Browns Bay are offering half price coffees on Monday and Tuesday mornings during June and July. We hope you will bring your family, friends and colleagues to town to shop, eat and take advantage of this generous offer.  As part of our circular economy, we hope that it will help both you and our businesses. A special thanks to the nine participating cafes.

The Mother’s Day promotion advertised in the April/May issue of ShoreLines had to be shelved due to the lockdown. It was certainly a Mother’s Day with a difference and we hope that Mums were recognised and spoilt in some special way.  Please support the two businesses that were going to donate generous prizes for this promotion – Skin Boutique on Inverness Road and House of Travel on Clyde Road.

Look out for our next Shop Local promotion in July. Go into the draw to win a shopping spree in Browns Bay at any retailer, eatery or business of your choice when you spend $20 or more at a participating business.

Thanks for supporting local small businesses in Browns Bay.
