Safe Drive Vehicle Testing Browns Bay Christmas Parade
Come into Browns Bay’s town centre on Saturday 2 December for the arts and crafts market in Phoenix Plaza from 3pm, get some Christmas shopping done, grab a bite and a coffee, and find your spot along the parade route to see the wonderfully decorated floats. You’ll find out why we call it ‘the biggest little Christmas parade in Auckland’.
The new expanded route was such a success last year with both participating floats and spectators that we’ve decided to run with it again.
It’s so much fun when businesses, schools, community groups and pre-schools join together to welcome the arrival of the festive season in a connected and cheerful way.
Thanks to Hibiscus and Bays Local Board, and to our new naming sponsor, Safe Drive Vehicle Testing, for their generous support of this popular event.
PARADE ROUTE
The parade starts beside the Marine Centre at the northern end of Beach Front Lane. It proceeds along the full length of Beach Front Lane and turns right into Anzac Road.
It crosses the roundabout at the intersection of Anzac and Clyde Roads, continuing on Anzac Road. It then turns right into Glen Road, crosses the intersection with Inverness Road, and continues along Glen Road to Bute Road.
It turns right into Bute Road heading to Clyde Road. It then turns left into Clyde Road, sweeps round to the right on Bayview Road and finishes on Manly Esplanade in front of The Sands village.
