Auckland moves into Alert Level 3 at 11.59pm on Tuesday 21 September 2021, where the city will remain for at least 2 weeks.  The rest of NZ will remain at Alert Level 2. Let’s recap on the Level 3 basics:

  • Stay home and work from home if at all possible
  • Stay safe (social distancing is 2 metres, wear a mask and scan)
  • Sanitise hands frequently
  • Be kind
  • Check in with your neighbours, friends and relatives
  • Be good to yourself

Retailers can trade by contactless payment, delivery and collection at the entrance to their premises. Customers cannot go onto the premises (other than essential services businesses). Please call/email them or visit their website and social media to check what services they are offering.

Eateries, bars and pubs are closed to the public, but they can offer non-contact takeaways.

There are no changes to public transport timetables to allow for physical distancing. Wear a mask. Travel will be charged for by AT Hop.  No cash accepted.

Public Venues are closed – library, cinema, gym, pool, playground, museum.
