Browns Bay holds several free community events and ‘shop local’ promotions each year to involve and thank the community for their loyalty to our local businesses, as well as and attracting visitors from further afield. Our signature event is the annual Browns Bay Christmas Parade which attracts up to 10,000 visitors. We also love having outdoor movies on the beach reserve in a perfect summertime setting, and Father’s Day Boys Toys (first Sunday in September) is becoming a very popular recurring family event.

Feast Coast Bays
Mairangi Bay, Browns Bay and Torbay businesses are collaborating to bring you Feast Coast Bays, a new restaurant trail designed to incentivise people from the greater Auckland area to visit, shop and dine at a selection of reputable restaurants in East Coast Bays.
Local diners are encouraged to participate too. Why not pick a restaurant you have not dined at this winter and give it a go. Pick as many as you like. You can win great prizes by dining at any of the superb Feast Coast Bays eateries.
It’s easy to participate. Dine out at any of the restaurants listed below, spend $50 or more per table, complete a brief entry form when you pay your bill, attach it to your bill, and pop it into the entry box. That’s you in the draw with a chance to WIN.
Three diners will be drawn each week over the 6-week duration of the promotion to win a $100 dining voucher. There is $1,800 of vouchers up for grabs! Then at the close of the promotion one very lucky winner will be randomly drawn from all entry forms submitted over the 6-week period to WIN a luxury weekend escape for two to Mudbrick Vineyard on Waiheke Island worth $2,000! The grand prize has been generously sponsored by House of Travel Browns Bay.
