NZ Iron Strength started off as a mere garage gym. The owner, Wiremu Poa, had pulled together a few commercial grade pieces of gym equipment to train in his own space. Then lockdown in Auckland struck and people were unable to train and visit their local gyms. Wiremu opened his home to the public for everyone to train and use the gym as if it were their own. From there, the gym has continued to expand in size from a double garage to over 100 SQM of gym equipment. However, the goal was always to move into a commercial place to create an atmosphere and community for all the hardworking individuals who are looking to get stronger. We will always be open to everyone, regardless of your choices this place was created for the people, to battle the tough times and look after our mental and physical wellbeing. Now moving into our own commercial space, we feel privileged to have the opportunity to build such an amazing community of hard working, like-minded individuals creating stronger and better versions of themselves.
