Whether your little ones are adventure seekers or you’re looking to kick back and soak up the summer vibes\, there’s something for everyone. \nKids will love: \n\npony rides\ninflatables\nfun rides\nface painting\nsandcastle sculpture competition\ngiant games and puzzles… and more!\n\nCatch live music in Phoenix Plaza and on the beach reserve\, all while enjoying the stunning summer backdrop of Browns Bay Beach. \nSupport our amazing local businesses while you’re in town. Grab a coffee or a bite at one of the many nearby eateries\, enjoy a takeaway picnic and a glass of wine on the reserve\, browse the arts & crafts market stalls – don’t forget your wallet – and find time to relax and soak up the seaside vibes. \n🎟️ Admission to this event is free \nKids’ activity wristbands for fun fair and pony rides\, inflatables and face painting cost $10 per child for unlimited use between 10am and 4pm. They can be purchased from 8am at the Information Station on the boardwalk opposite Phoenix Plaza (next to the whale tail sculpture). Cash and EFTPOS accepted. \nKey Times to Help you Plan Your Day: \n\n8am – 3pm purchase wristbands at the Information Station\n10am – 1pm pony rides \n10am – 4pm fun fair rides and face painting\n10am – 7pm market stalls\n12.00pm – 2.00pm Barfoot & Thompson sandcastle & sculpture competition\n\nLive Music Not To Be Missed: \n\n11am – 3pm Chet & Melissa on stage in Phoenix Plaza\n3pm – 7pm Hands Off on stage on the beach reserve\n\nRoad Closure & Parking: \n\nA section of Beach Front Lane between 21 Days Bar & Brasserie and Java Jungle Cafe will be closed to vehicles from 8am to 7.30pm.\nStreet parking inside the road closure will not be available.\nAccess will be given to residents and businesses with off-street parking.\nParkmate paid parking adjacent to Phoenix Plaza will not be available.\nThere is no planned disruption to bus services.\nWe expect Browns Bay to be very busy on event day. If you are coming along to the event we suggest that you park west of Glen Road\, towards Freyberg Park\, where there is unrestricted parking\, and walk into town – a 10-minute stroll. \n\nThanks to Hibiscus and Bays Local Board for their continued generous financial backing of Summer Spectacular\, and to Barfoot & Thompson’s Mehran Zareian\, Neil Gorman and Geraldine Zareian for contributing towards the cost of the live bands and bringing the sandcastle sculpture competition on the beach as part of the event. \nWe encourage a smoke-free event and ask you to refrain from smoking or vaping at the event site. Dogs are welcome but please keep them on a leash. \nStallholders: enquiries to sales@aucklandmamamarket.co.nz  This is the only way to book a stall at this event.
