Browns Bay holds several free community events and ‘shop local’ promotions each year to involve and thank the community for their loyalty to our local businesses, as well as and attracting visitors from further afield. Our signature event is the annual Browns Bay Christmas Parade which attracts up to 10,000 visitors. We also love having outdoor movies on the beach reserve in a perfect summertime setting, and Father’s Day Boys Toys (first Sunday in September) is becoming a very popular recurring family event.
Browns Bay Christmas Parade
December 4, 2021 @ 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm UTC+12
*** THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED ***
Rest assured, Christmas IS coming to Browns Bay. As always, the giant Christmas Tree will be erected and decorated mid-November in Phoenix Plaza, and the festive street garlands will be hung. We’re currently working hard on creating a new schedule of festive activities and excitement to replace the celebration to light up the Christmas Tree, and the Parade. For us, the festive surprises for the little people, and the not so little people of our community, are absolute front of mind. We WILL be celebrating during December, with smaller activities (but more of them) + minimal crowds (as you can enjoy them in your time) = safe festive fun for everyone. More details will be provided soon.
