Browns Bay holds several events and promotions each year to involve the community and attract visitors. The best known is the annual Browns Bay Christmas Parade and Carnival, attracting 10,000 visitors. After the excitement of the biggest parade north of the Bridge, you can enjoy live music and entertainment while the kids have fun with a variety of activities at the Carnival and have their photos taken with Santa.

*** The first 100 people to collect ‘Where You Belong’ on the Whale Tales mobile app (download from App Store or Google Play) from 3pm on 19 February will receive a FREE LIMITED EDITION PRINT signed by Jane Mason courtesy of sponsor SBA Small Business Accounting *** They will be handed out at the site of the tail.
Whale Tales art trail is brought to us by WWF-New Zealand, Wild in Art and Auckland Unlimited to showcase 80 unique tails by 80 NZ artists while increasing our awareness of the endangered Bryde’s (pronounced Broo-dus) Whale and the deteriorating state of the Hauraki Gulf.
